I hear people praying for the latter rain but I rarely hear it mentioned in the context of the closing events of earth's history. Will it occur before or after the Sunday law is instituted?
This is a very good question, one which i wish to know the answer to also. According to the 1858 edition of The Great Controversy Between Christ and His Angels, and Satan and His Angels by Ellen White, it looks pretty clear that it is the zeal and power with the people of God that enrages the wicked and makes them take legal action against God's people. But i've also read things that makes it seems like the Sunday Law will come and really separate the wheat from the tares, thus causing the Latter Rain to be able to be poured out.
